Hi people who I may have lead to this site at some point in their lives.

If you look at the previous update (9-14-15) it reads something about me discontinuing this website's updates for one year in order to keep focused in school. That is true, but over the past year, I learned a lot about myself.

I thought I could pull off becoming a successful game designer. I know I still can, but what I didn't understand was the difficulty of acheiving that goal. I felt like I had it in the bag, which is why I decided to build this website three years ago, while I was still in High school, thinking that I will immediately become successful after getting all the tools I needed (Adobe, GameMaker, etc). And in order to acheive that goal, I need to look better, and this website won't help, especially because of it's bad web design (This isn't even a real blog page. It's just a page with more words each time I update it).

This website is too goofy with it's weird site colors and disturbing comic sans font, especially if I want to be a professional.

This website is more like a personal blog than anything.

So not only am I going to stop updating this website.

I'm going to stop updating it forever.

But don't misinterpret that.

I'm not giving up on my goal to be a GD.

I'm only giving up on this childish site.

After taking the animation class I mentioned in my previous post, I really changed. And one thing I did on accident made me rethink my entire future.

Behold *cue the music (a new remix I made)*

I made a logo of my name as a joke to make my animations look professional, but I loved it so much, it became no joke. I scratched my whole "JX Universe" goal and replaced it with a new one: Jeremy Boateng Productions.

I'm going to begin my journey as an Independent game developer, and hopefully grow bigger overtime. I make music, and I animate, so all I have to learn is how to draw and program (and use the applications). I even planning a game for launch in 2020: Project One, and I'm pretty sure I mentioned that...

I will be showing you my animations and such, but not here, but rather ON MY NEW AND IMPROVED WEBSITE: *cue another song I made in the past year.*

http://jboateng.wixsite.com/home

There you have it. My new webiste, where everything will look much more modern, and suitable for my job.

Before I conclude the final update to this website, I want to say thank you to whoever visited this place when I asked them to. I also want to apologize to them, for I don't know who would've visited, and because I had no content to show them, besides these depressing and cringeworthy posts. I'm better than that now, and from this point on, I will be in college, putting forth all my power into becoming the best game developer out there, by starting with the little steps. I hope to see you all on my new and improved site, planning for official launch in 2017. Thank you for visiting, and goodbye.

Hello. It's actually still the 13th of Sept. but I thought I should use 14th to stretch the fact that I haven't updated this site for the past 365 days. Heh heh... actually, that's why I came here today... I have... news.

Listen to one of my songs to change the mood. >

I haven't been putting all my work into this site lately, mainly because of school, work, and other things in life (but mostly school and work), and I don't want to take chunks out of my time typing things that I'm not even actually doing, like testing out Adobe Flash and creating Unity 3D games. I had them planned, but work has gotten into the way...

I'm pretty sure you see where this is going.

Yes. I'm discontinuing updates on this site.

No. It's not permanent. It's temporary.

I'm a senior in High School now, and I got to get to serious doings.

I can't spend time updating a website that no one will see until I announce it.

I haven't announced it because the website isn't even completed yet.

It's not completed yet because I haven't made a game or any story script that I can post onto this site (Which is why I created this site in the first place: to post my creations). All I've uploaded was one single song: The Song of Jeremy X. (Find it below this page!)

I haven't made a game yet because... well... I don't know how honestly.

I know right?... It is a huge flaw for me to this site. I mean, I have made many songs, and I have created and completed many stories and poems, but I just don't feel ready to upload them... I just don't know why. Actually, it's mainly because the main attraction on this site was going to be the games I created, not the stories and music; those were suppose to encourage the games! But there aren't any!! So there wasn't a strong point to upload them!!! In my opinion, that is.

I'm not depressed or anything, so don't think of this like that. It's not like I wanted to dedicate my life to making this site. I just wanted to create a place to publicly, and successfully, store my creations. You know, like the Jeremy Boateng Museum or something.

But for now, that place is gonna be on YouTube, Facebook, Google Drive, and many more places around the internet.

I would list all 18 places where I keep my creations, but I suggest you just use the 4 on the main page for now, including my IndieDB account here: http://www.indiedb.com/members/jeremy-x-universe.

But I'll tell you what.

This high school year, I have signed up for an Animation Class where we will be learning how to use Adobe Flash, the best animation software out there!

But wait there's more!

I can't remeber if I mentioned this in past updates, but about a while back, I was given a "For Dummies" book on how to use Game Maker: Studio. I've conquered the first 24 pages! Only 276 pages left!

I've begun working on a test project as I read the book.

In fact, I came up with the title for my first game. I plan on naming it:

What do you think?

Things are looking up really.

I can't promise anything, but I believe I should be able to animate on Adobe Flash and have a better knowledge of using Game Maker: Studio by the time I return to building this site. Unless, I come to check by. By then I'll HAVE to put in effort to this site. I will actually need this on my portfolio to show to Los Angeles Film School so they can accept me to their school. Then I can get a Master's Degree in Game Design!

Long story short, I just need time to focus on school, so I'm not touching this site for a really long time. That's all.

Until then, I'm Jeremy Boateng, saying see ya soon!

Here's another song I made which you can listen to. >

It may be in Project One. Hear it first!

Uggghh.... It's been a whole year hasn't it. Oh man...

Well, look on the bright side. No one's been reading this anyway.... (not even sure if that's really a bright side) good thing I haven't put this site on blast yet.

You see, a horrible, terrible mess has struck my computer during this year's April (Right before GTA V came out on PC), and at first it wasn't all that bad. My WiFi connection constantly got corrupted, making me have to restart the computer a thousand times a day.

     Then it happened.

Right before Windows 10 was released for free (somewhere before July 28) an update was needed. Not only did that corrupt my WiFi for the rest of eternity, but it also destroyed the sound device on it too! HOW?! It dosen't even make sense!! Speakers were already built into the computer!

Anyway, I tried SO hard to find a way to get back what is probably the two most important things on my computer (besides apps) and eventually (after a system restoring fail, and an antivirus scan fail) I came down to two options:

1) Delete everything on the CPU, restart it clean, and pray that it got rid of the problem.

2) Admit to my dad that I broke the $400+ computer within less than a year, have him yell at me, and get Mom to take me to Best Buy to repair it.

At first I attempted Option #1, but I had so many music files scattered across the PC... It would take DAYS to eventually find all 364 MP3 files and copy them to my USB! (along with pictures and games) Plus, what if the virus thingy stays, meaning that deleting all the hard work and downloads and apps I put on my CPU would have been a huge waste? I thought to myself. So I switched to Option 2 after a few days.

A guy named Joseph who worked at the Geek Squad in Best Buy gave me a new option:

1) Buy a 1-year text plan for $199, to have them fix it for me.

2) Go with my previous Option #1.

Mom wasn't willing to pay up for my screw up, so it was back to Option #1: Delete everything. (Oh God this better work.)

Eventually, I figured out where all my music files went, did a factory reset, and... it wasn't that bad. The computer actually saved a few of my apps, and not only that, it saved my wallpapers, and downloaded Windows 10. It took 5 hours to delete and intstall Windows 10, but in the end, the virus was gone, my WiFi was back, and I can listen and download music again. I decided to celebrate and apologize by typing it here on my website. I don't think anyone will read it, but, you never know.

Okay so not too long ago, I downloaded a few things to my computer:

FL Studio Groove - To make music for my games on GameMaker Studio.

Adobe Creative Cloud - To create my new JX Universe Intro.

Leauge of Legends - No reason. Just though it'd be nice to have it on my CPU. Heck, I don't even have an LoL account! Lol! ALTHOUGH... I could use it to absorb ideas for my future MMORPG's. Hmmmm...

Now I don't have the full version of Adobe. And I only got 30 days to use it. So I gotta act fast. Good thing I didn't even start the 30-day free trial. I will during Thanksgiving Break. But for now... let's see how awesome FL Studio Grooove is gonna be! (Honestly, I didn't get that yet. I gotta fetch a Windows Store Prepaid card at Best Buy first.)

Alright! Ladies & Gentlemen I present to you: The Theme of Jeremy X!

The song is a bit shy. You might want to turn up your volume.

Yes. If you don't know this, you should know it now. This is the song you will hear throughout some my future video games. "Who's Jeremy X?" I know you're asking that question. I can read your mind. Well no. I can't really. I just have the feeling you're asking that. So while your listeneing to this tune (not the greatest version of this song...(I'm creating a better version.)) I might as well explain.

Jeremy X is a video game series

about a teenage boy, Jeremy Xavier Boateng III,

who was chosen as the next King of the Universe

by Epica, The Goddess of All, to take ultimate care of, literally,

The Entire Universe.

But with an amazing Power, known as InnerJX, his

problems are reduced, especially with help from

his friends and more from different lands,

different worlds, different planets, different galaxies,

different universes, and even different dimensions.

Along with his crew, Jonas, Jennifer, Jim-Jam,

and Jasmine, altogether known as the

ULTRAMATE 5, they work together to explore,

battle, race, play, help, rescue, fight, and

protect the zillions and zillions of creatures

as The Great Gaurdians of the JX Universe.

                                                          ..............

So yup'. That's who he is. And this song is

his theme. When I was six, I came up with

this. I got the main tune from a wannabe

video game. Over the years I turned it into

my own version and added so much to

it. Unfortunately, the themes still sound

similar, so I'm praying that no one figures

out the similarity and gets me sued. Lately,

I've used the song for a game that my friend Alex, who's also opening up a game company, Frostalett (I think, gotta check up on that name), was going to make, known as Fish Rage. Well... that didn't work out, so I get to keep my song another day! WHO KNOWS WHEN IT WILL COME TO LIFE.....

This is the original logo for my company, the JX UNIVERSE.
Ta DA!!! See the DIFFERENCE!

7-2-14

My birthday is very soon, and on that day of July 12th, I plan on getting a new Windows 8 PC, mostly because of my game designing future which I want to start THIS INSTANT, but I will also use to get this website back on track. ALTHOUGH.....

I came across a new tool for creating websites: Adobe MUSE. I never saw it in action, but even though I truly admire this website of mine, IT MAY JUST GO DOWN IN HISTORY... VERY SOON...

BUT HEY, WHO KNOWS?

5-14-14

This place is still growing little by little. I haven't uploaded any stuff to my channel because I haven't had the time (Gee, I couldn't even find channel art!), but summer is nearing us, and i'll see what I can do then. It's been a while since i worked on this site.

1-5-14

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I'm still doing construction here, but I'm going at a slower paste because of other problems, I don't expect anyone to care... yet. In conclusion, it's still comin'.

11-17-13

A lot more improvement. And don't worry. There will be stories and videos. I just gotta get the website construction over with.

10-12-13

The website is all good here... This page is gonna get longer and longer.......
